How to download a mix: I want the mp3!

Here's a simple tutorial for those who seem to have problems downloading a mix file.

 

On every page, at least in the Mix Downloads section (Mashups/Edits/Mixes), you'll find a (flash)player for every individual track in most cases. This player 'previews' the mix. Above this player, you'll see this:
DOWNLOAD and an icon:

Simply right-click on one of these instances and select "save as" or "save target as" in the context menu. Depending on the operating system you are using on your computer, you can select the destination on your hard disk to save the file to.

 

Is downloading music on this website for free?

Yes, all music tracks provided on this website can be downloaded for free. Keep in mind that these mp3-files have copyrights, and are only distributed by me for demonstrational purposes. I do not make any money out of the mashups, mixes and music files. The music files on this website are made for personal fullfilment, as mixing is just a hobby in my spare time. The mixes I made differ from the original tracks, but copyrights still apply to the original sources and material.

If, for any reason, (parts of the) content need to be removed, a request can be made by sending me an email. I will immediately remove the content in that case.

Can I pass on the mixes to my friends or family? May I use your mixes for personal purposes?

The main goal for me putting up this website is to let other people enjoy the music I made. If you like the mixes presented on this website, feel free to pass it on to other people! You can use my mashups for example on YouTube video's, school presentations or at parties, as long as you keep in mind that the mp3 files contain copyrights of the original artists and record labels in the music industry. I am for no reason responsible for any damage, claims or negative outcomes that can occur by downloading and using the material distributed through this website.
